Because of a potential hazard, Hasbro announced last Thursday that it's recalling about 1 million Easy-Bake ovens. Only ovens sold after May 2006 are included in the recall, according to theUS Consumer Product Safety Commission.
A similar recall last February resulted in adjustments to the toy electric oven but there have been 249 reports of injuries to children playing with the retrofit toy, including a burn that required a partial finger amputation. The child was 5.

Hamilton Beach Countertop Oven

Hamilton Beach Countertop Oven with Convection and Rotisserie Keeps Things Extra Crispy
Hamilton Beach' monstrous mini oven makes other toaster ovens cower in fear. The specs don't lie: You really can cook two frozen pizzas or eight baked potatoes at once, courtesy of two levels of 144-square-inch cooking grids. We even cooked a whole chicken on the spinning rotisserie: It isn't perfect, but it did the job, crisping up the bird nicely. There are other aspects to the Hamilton's aren't perfect either: The analog controls are hard to read and not very accurate, and you'll pay for the size in the form of slow heating (it took 22 minutes to hit 350 degrees and topped out at 360, though it claims 450 degrees as the top temp).

WIRED
Easily the best unit if you don't have a standard oven. Easy cleanup thanks to front-loading crumb tray. Handles big cooking jobs without complaint. Quite the bargain.
TIRED Not the best at toasting plain bread, which requires extensive experimentation to keep from simply drying instead of browning toast. Enormous footprint. Baking pans have embossed pattern, making them difficult to use for cookies and the like.
